You may have noticed that we try and stay in hotels that have a bit of luxury, unless we are staying for one night, which would be a booking where we think it is just a bed for the night, and it doesn’t have to be too fancy.
We like lots of space, so find Suites really useful, be it one room with sofa and table etc or a bedroom and a separate area. It’s really good to have space if one of you doesn’t sleep that well, some of the time.
Well, circumstance made us have a change of venue and we used a brand we hadn’t used for a while, Holiday Inn Express. It seemed like it would be fine, it had everything we needed, except the extra space and in addition to that it was in an extremely convenient location.
We arrived and everything was perfect, in fact more than perfect. The room was ready early, there was a parking space for us. The staff have been exceptional and the stay has been just great. We will certainly be looking out for Holiday Inn Express in in the future.
