Your favourite artist is going to perform in your city. What do you do?
Do you try and get in the pre-sale, by buying the album, which you can’t play, because you only have digital downloads 😀 Or do you wait until tickets go on General Sale?
When the tickets go on sale, what are you prepared to pay?
I try to always do a pre-sale, but I don’t want to buy something I really don’t want, in order to qualify for the pre-sale.
I don’t mind getting a signed CD, even if I don’t use it, but I would not spend much more than £10, in order to get on the pre-sale list.
When it finally comes to the day, what do you do? Do you have a price you want to pay or do you have an area you want to sit in?
I have attempted to get tickets three times this year, once managing to get what I wanted at a reasonable price. The second time I couldn’t get what I wanted and I wasn’t prepared to pay the asking price, which was more than 3 times the price of the first artist, at the same venue and they are both big named British Singers. Finally, the third time a friend got some hospitality tickets, but you have to buy the full Box and then hope friends want to come along with you.
I sometimes wish it was the old days and small venues. When you could actually see and sometimes shake hands with the artist. If I want to watch on a screen and I can do that at home.
Now and then, I declare my concert days are over, and then I start booking again, but carefully choosing the venue and the seating.
Good luck with your choices.

Totally agree but I also find that some very greedy people buy multiple tickets for the same night, use the best ones and then resell the spares at an inflated rate. That really isn’t in
fair on other people who were not lucky enough to get tickets…… probably because of the multiple purchases being made !! Anyway it’s not something I have ever done or would feel comfortable doing.
I agree and hopefully those people will one day get stuck with the tickets!!
