We went to the theatre for the first time in a while.
The show we were seeing was Six The Musical and it is a lively show, we have seen it many times before. It is 80 mins with now interval and often attracts a younger audience, which is great.
I must admit I was expecting some unruly behaviour but I was pleasantly surprised. There was a group of older people who arrived about 10 mins after the show started but that was the sum of the disturbance.
There was an announcement not to video or take photos during the show, advising that there would be an opportunity at the end of the show for using your phone or camera. They added that the Queens would make an announcement when you could do this.
The show was amazing, I would recommend it to anyone who likes fun musical theatre.
There were one or two people who thought the no filming rule wasn’t for them but this theatre soon sorted them out. We all got to film at the end and the Queens asked everyone to stay seating, which was wonderful for wheelchair users and those with mobility issues, as they got to see the finale to – thanks Queens and Marlowe Canterbury.
