We recently went to the restaurant Six By Nico in Canary Wharf.
We started using Six By Nico during the pandemic, when they provided ingredients in boxes, with instructions to cook an amazing restaurant style menu. We loved the food and the quirkiness of the menus, we chose food we liked the sound of and we were never disappointed.
When restaurants were in full swing and all open again Six By Nico stopped providing the on-line service. It was a sad day.
I initially thought the Six By Nico restaurants were all in Scotland, but then I found there were two in London. One in Charlotte Street, London and one in Canary Wharf.
Over the next few months we toyed with which one we wanted to go to, Central London or Canary Wharf, which was easier to get to etc. Then we found ourselves in Aberdeen, so we visited the one there and the food and the whole concept was excellent. We loved it.
We have since been to both London restaurants. We love the concept and the whole experience, a six-course tasting menu inspired by a theme, destination or concept. The themes we have experience are Once Upon A Time, Fairground and more recently New York.
Do you think you need a theme or concept to have successful restaurants? If you are not a celebrity chef, in order to attract customers. It is a crowed market out there and you need to stand out from the crowd.
Six By Nico stand out from the crowd and for all the right reasons.

The amazing New York Menu
