A few months ago I went to a show and as my husband and I are both disabled and struggle getting to theatre bars, that are normally up or down stairs, I prepaid for a Cocktails package.
I paid £45 for the package, which was three Cocktails and a few nibbles. When I checked out the Cocktail prices the most expensive cocktails only totalled £39 and some even £33 or less, so this package did seem to be poor value for money. In my defence I didn’t know the Cocktail prices when I pre-booked it.
Recently I was returning to the same theatre and I Googled to see prices of drinks, when I came across details of the Cocktails package, which contains, a Charcuterie Board, a programme, an ice-cream and the three Cocktails. I definitely did not receive this when I attended, so next time I will keep note of what I should be receiving. I used to laugh at my husband years ago, he used to take a copy of the holiday brochure away, to ensure he got what he paid for, perhaps he had the right idea.
