Get what you pay for!

I have discussed this before but what do you do when you have booked something?

Is that the end of it or do you check you got what you paid for, albeit, a holiday, hotel room or a meal?

We booked a hotel earlier in the week and couldn’t get an Accessible Room, so we booked a larger room, which had a mini bar.

Hotel sometimes have rooms in strange places or up one step, so we called just to ask our room wouldn’t be up any steps as we had a wheelchair and they said they had an Accessible Room, in the room type we had booked – excellent we thought.

When we arrived, after a while we noticed there was no bar, no drinks or even a biscuit, so we asked at Reception and someone bought us some drink, wine, beer, soft drinks and water.

Later I was checking if the drinks were free and noted complimentary drinks and snacks, so I went to ask about snack and they said they would deliver some and they did but I wonder how many people pay for a room with a mini bar and don’t even get offered any drinks – a lot of people I guess.
