As I get older I don’t frequent bars the same as I used to. However, there are some bars that are worth going to.
The HarBar on the 6th, is one of those bars. It is noted as one of Southampton’s best drinking and dining destinations.
It is a spectacular rooftop destination, featuring floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the Solent. It has a terrace with outdoor fire pits, heaters and a wood-fired pizza oven. There are also DJs and dancing at the weekends. The 6th floor gives amazing views.
There are an array of cocktails, gins and other drinks available. You can’t go wrong with a food order, with a lounge menu, restaurant menu and Afternoon Tea.
The staff are amazing, Rhona and Jamie are both great. You don’t have to be staying at the hotel to use the bar and I would highly recommend booking for the Afternoon Tea, the menu changes to reflect the seasons.
