We have been fans of Gordon Ramsay for a while now. We have watched the majority of his TV shows, from The F Word, Hell’s Kitchen US and his recent Netflix documentary Being Gordon Ramsay.
We have also been fans of his restaurants, visiting most of his restaurants in London, and several in USA. We used to have birthday dinners at the Private Dining Room ( The Captain’s Table) at The Narrow, which is now Bread Street Kitchen, Limehouse, until some of our friends were unable to make it up the steps to the room.
We have only have been really disappointed once and that was at Ramsay’s Fish & Chips in Orlando. It reminded me of a glorified Fried Chicken Shop, with plastic seats outside, but with fine dining prices. That hasn’t put us off the restaurants though, although we won’t be returning to Fish & Chips any time soon!
This week, we went to the opening night of Hell’s Kitchen, London. It was amazing and the food was top notch. Personally, I found the experience better than even Hospital Road or the River Restaurant, (which is in the Savoy Hotel) and we will certainly be returning.
