It really is worth doing?

It doesn’t seem that long ago that I was complaining about some hotels and the lack of Accessibility in the Accessible rooms.

We had mentioned the issues a few times at the hotel but nothing ever changed but as Accessibility became more important, matters were made more difficult.

I can now can report that it is amazing what happens when you report it to the right person.

We were going to just boycott the hotel, as clearly nothing was going to change.

I was upset, as we had loved the hotel, we were known there and we felt safe and comfortable there as overall the staff were amazing. However, I am practical, if nothing else, so I took to Tripadvisor to leave a review on there.

When I went to leave my review, Tripadvisor wouldn’t let me, as I had left a review recently. This resulted in my husband using the contents of the email to send as a complaint to the hotel.

The complaint got through to someone who understood the complaint and changes have started to be made to the room.  More hotels should listen to the customers rather than think an able-bodied person knows what is best for the disabled patron.

Too high for disabled to reach
Now relocated and easy to Access
