Hotels in London are all expensive, sometimes you might manage to get a deal. In my opinion you get what you pay for. We got a deal on booking the Kimpton Fitzroy and it is a beautiful hotel. Most of the time people just want somewhere to sleep overnight and aren’t worried about there hotel, for us it is different we spend some of our time in the hotel and we like it to be pleasant and comfortable.
The Kimpton is amazing, some of the basic rooms are very small but they are beautifully decorated and you are in a Five Star hotel in London.
They have a coffee shop and a restaurant. We haven’t yet visited the latter but the coffee shop is worth going to, even if you are not staying at the hotel.
