Queen Elizabeth II

I can’t continue my journey with this Blog without giving a mention to HRH Queen Elizabeth II. In my eyes she has been a remarkable woman and all I have known. I remember collecting magazines and books about her and her children, when I was a child.

Every friend from Overseas we have taken to London have always wanted to see Buckingham Palace, Windsor, Hampton Court Palace or something similar. They have all been in awe of The Royal Family and that is why not just Great Britain but the majority of the world now sits and watches as these historic events take place.

I know people who have stood in line to see the Queen. Unfortunately ,that is not something that Dave & I can do, due to our disabilities. We did go and watch when Princess Diana died, but we were a lot younger and fitter in those days. I spoke to a young person yesterday who said since the Queen died she had only watched coverage about the Queen and when I phoned one of my friends in USA last night ,she told me she had the feed from the UK on TV day and night.

These are truly historic times as we say goodbye as a Nation to the person we knew as the stability and the rock of the whole Country and Commonwealth.

I can only end this by saying RIP Queen Elizabeth II.

God Save The King.
