It is that time of year again, when flowers are overpriced and so is dining out ……………but when we are young and in love, we like to take part in the St Valentine’s Day Celebrations.
What do you do to celebrate, or do you not take part in what has turned out to be a largely now commercial event?
We have been married over 30 years, so decided that we wouldn’t do anything for Valentine’s Day this year, other than sending cards.
Then we were sent an email advertising Dishpatch Valentines Meals. They are lovely and cheaper than going out.
We had theatre tickets booked for the day before Valentine’s Day, so we booked a meal at the theatre.
When I was placing my shopping order online, I saw the M&S offers and so I have ordered two different sets of meals – they freeze don’t they?
And not only have I arranged all that, then I spotted something I thought my husband would like, so I told him we are buying gifts for Valentine’s Day.
You could say we are taking part this year 😀
