It is now Autumn and this weekend is Halloween, with Bonfire Night soon following,. Neither are my favourite times of year, but when is too soon for Christmas.
Christmas goodies have been in the shops since at least September. I know as a child I used to get Christmas Annuals for my birthday in September, so Christmas items have always been out in September.
I am not in favour of houses putting up decorations too soon. December will do for me, but I don’t mind Festive shops. I know in USA they start straight after Thanksgiving, which is just fine by me.
I can’t wait to wear my Last Christmas Sweatshirt – I think it might even be this weekend. Am I too early and do I care?
